As Oral & Maxillifacial and ENT surgeon, These are my few observations It's been observed that Mucormycosis is more common in Maxilla than Mandible It's more common in immunocompromised cases post recovery Especially patients who underwent HIGH FLOW NASAL CANULA (HFNC) where flow is 30bto 40ltrs per hours This actually dries the mucosa n causes physical damage due to high speed flow Kindly look for sinuses in maxilla & multiple teeth with severe n continuous pain Sharing a clinical video for better understanding
